Master in Computer Applications - MCA

1. MBA

The MBA Programme consists of 21 course as below :

· All the 11 courses of PGDIM i.e. MS-1 to MS11.
· Five (5) courses from any of the 4 specialisations mentioned above from NO. 4 to No. 7.
· Integrative Module : Compulsory course (MS-91, MS-100 which is equivalent to 2 courses)
and one elective course from MS-92, MS-93, MS-94 & MS-97.

2. DIM X

The DIM comprises three compulsory and four elective course out of which a student required to take two courses as below ;

i) Ms-1, MS-2, MS-3 are compulsory courses.
ii) Elective courses : any tow from MS-4, MS-5, MS-6 and MS-7.

PGDIM comprises of following 11 courses :

MS-1, MS-2, MS-3, MS-4, MS-5, MS-6m MS-7, MS-8, MS-9, MS-10, MS-11.

4. PGDHRM

PGDHRM comprises of any 5 courses of MS-21, MS_22, MS-23, MS-24, MS-25, MS-26, MS-27

PGDFM comprises of any 5 courses of MS-41, MS-42, MS-43, MS-44, MS-45, MS-46.

PGDMM comprises of any 5 courses of MS-61, MS-62, MS-63, MS-64, MS-65, MS-66, MS-68.

PGDOM comprises of any 5 course of MS-51, MS-52, MS-53, MS-54, MS-58, MS- 94.

· A student can opt maximum of 4 courses per semester.

· One can take MS-100 (Project work) after at least 2 semesters. (iii) A course once selected for study, must be successfully completed within 4 semesters. In case of failure to do so, the student will be required to seek Re-Admission by paying fees of Rs. 500/- per course. However, such a student will not be required to take the Entrance test again.

· If a student wants to change one course then he/she has to do it by 31st July for first and second semester respectively on payment of a fee of Rs. 100/- per course apart from Rs. 500/- per course. The amount to be paid by Demand Draft drawn in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi and it is to be sent to Director (SR & E), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi-110 068.

· The MBA learner has to complete a Project work (MS-100) under some guide. For fixing a guide the students has to contact the Co-ordinator. The Co-ordinator will fix some from the academic counsellors. The student has to send a project synopsis to IGNOU H/Q. After getting the approval from IGNOU the student has to send I copy of the project work to IGNOU. I copy of the same project is to be submitted to the study centre and I copy is to be given to the project guide.

· Submission of Assignments is pre-requisite for appearing in Term-End. For Management Programme total number of assignment one has to submit is 3 per course. Out of them 2 are called as Tutor Market Assignments (TMAs) and 3rd one is called as Computer Market Assignment (CMA) or some-time Tutor Market Assignment (TMA0. The 2 T MAs are to be submitted to the study centre and the CMA is to be sent to IGNOU, New Delhi.
